Our client, a leading financial institution, is looking for a Wealth Operations Officer (Banking) to join their team for a 1 year contract!

Pay Rate: $17.34/hr
Contract Duration: 1 year contract
Hours of Work: Mon to Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm (overtime flexibility may be required)

Must have good credit history and clear criminal record

Job Summary:
The Wealth Operations Officer is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of relevant transactions.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Process transactions accurately and on time
  • Escalate processing issues where necessary to ensure a high level of service is maintained
  • Own, escalate and resolve issues with the focus of client service excellence, exceeding expectation and creating a legendary client experience
  • Service clients as required – adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLA) and internal service delivery standards
  • Follow firm and industry regulations and operating practices in completing and recording transactions for either the firm or clients
  • Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and support process improvement initiatives
  • Complete investigations – report/escalate risk issues identified or process gaps
  • Assist in analysis, development, testing, and implementation of operating and process improvements
  • Compare data with source documents and enter data into appropriate fields

Job Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education required (university degree an asset)
  • Successful completion of Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) and/or Canadian Securities Course (CSC) an asset
  • Proficient in Excel with the use of Macro’s is an asset
  • Knowledge of VBA or equivalent programming is an asset
  • Possess strong interpersonal and excellent communications skill, both written and verbal
  • Commitment to client service excellence with the ability to meet or exceed client expectations
  • Previous banking experience an asset
