Supply Chain Analyst - Temporary
Location: Downtown Toronto
Duration: 3 Months
Compensation: Up to $24 per hour
 
Our client, a mining company, is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to join their team! The Supply Chain Analyst provides administrative & data support to the Supplier Due Diligence Portal and other supply functions. If you detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and can work well independently, this opportunity could be for you!

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily administrative support to Supplier Due Diligence Portal
  • Review of the data entered in the Supplier Due Diligence Portal for completeness and correctness
  • Identify data deficiencies and address them in a timely manner to ensure minimum delays in supply chain due diligence process
  • Engage in communication with suppliers regarding the due diligence process as directed
  • Provide support for other supply chain functions as needed

Qualifications

  • University/College degree (International Relations, Security or related) or related experience
  • Exercise good initiative ability to make linkages using an investigative approach
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Able to review, analyze, and extract data from various sources
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage several responsibilities simultaneously
  • Ability to set up a routine and effectively manage time
  • Proficiency in office systems (photocopiers, phone systems, etc)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in team and cross-functional environments
  • Previous experience in a corporate environment is an asset
  • Basic knowledge of supply chain management and related challenges is an asset
  • Ability to learn quickly with a high level of problem solving
  • Ability to work with others and communicate effectively
  • Discretion in dealing with sensitive matters and confidential information
