Sales Administrator (Recent Graduate)

Salary Up To $45K + Benefits!

Our Client, a trading and investment services firm is looking for a recent undergraduate student to join their team as a Sales Administrator. In this role, you will work in the Steel Department to assist department managers in their sales related administrative work. As a Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for invoicing payments, inventor control and documentation of purchasing and receivables. In addition, as a Sales Administrator, you will be responsible for general client inquiries within an assigned group of accounts.  If you are a fast learner, who desires growth and new opportunities in their future career, then we want to hear from you!


  • Preparation of documents reflecting trade contracts, purchases, returns, damaged material etc.
  • Invoicing and debit/credit note preparation and ensuring proper posting to accounting system
  • Interaction with clients and following up on contract regulations, communication with customs brokers and other inquiries
  • Apply and edit BR (business records) in the internal system to obtain benchmark numbers for new customers
  • Help sales team to renew customer credit lines
  • Follow up with contracts signing/countersigning, monitor Accounts Receivables status and chase payments
  • Respond to and follow up sales inquiries.


  • Must have a University degree, preferably in business
  • 1 years’ experience in corporate office environment is an asset
  • Proficiency with office equipment including payables/receivables software
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have strong customer service attitude, with excellent administrative skills
  • Must be organized, dependable, detail oriented and accurate
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office
  • Works well with others, and must be flexible and work effectively within a verity of situations
  • Effective time management skills and strong ability to work in a fast pace team environment with changing priorities
  • Must have proven ability to work independently
