Recruitment Coordinator (Banking)

Our client, a leading financial institution, is looking for a Recruitment Coordinator to join their team for a 6 month contract!

Pay Rate: $23.00/hr (paid weekly)
Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
Contract Duration: 6 months, with possibility of extension

Must have good credit history and clear criminal record

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate activities with HR and Business to deliver a “great First Day” for hires 
  • Act as a subject matter expert for enterprise hiring system usage and costs within our markets 
  • Provide administrative and logistical support to Talent Acquisition programs and activities within Recruitment team (including Employee Referral Program, Technology events, special initiatives, Information Sessions, etc.) 
  • Manage effective partner relationships with HR, HRS, and other Talent Acquisitions teams 
  • Utilize all elements of screening (assessment testing, pre-screening, interview guides) in the candidate process to screen and shortlist initial candidate pools for recruiters 
  • Reporting on Talent Acquisitions Scorecard metrics  
  • Scheduling Interviews with Candidates 
  • Scheduling Interviews with Hiring Managers 
  • Manage resumes and upload candidates into the Applicant Tracking System 
  • Support Diversity events (i.e. Information Sessions & Career Days) and increase brand awareness 
  • Support additional HR project work as required 
  • Manage the generic  Corporate Recruitment email address and triage all email to the appropriate Recruiter

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience supporting administrative support, preferably in a recruitment function 
  • Proficiency using Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 
  • Works under general supervision, refers unusual items 
  • Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where appropriate 
  • Take initiative to identify and recommend improvements in own job function 
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving 
  • Prioritize and manage own workflow to ensure quality and efficiency (i.e. meet deadlines; be flexible in adjusting to changing work priorities), ability to multitask, attention to detail, ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment where flexibility, keeping others informed and anticipating needs is essential 
  • Excellent customer service skills are an asset 
  • A high level of transparency, accountability, and willingness to learn


  • High school education required.
  • Post-secondary education preferred.
  • 3-5 years of related experience
