Our non-profit client is looking for a Recruiter to join their team. The recruiter will work primarily off-site and alongside the HR Team to screen and refer qualified candidates and ensure full compliance with the staffing process. If you have hands-on recruiting experience with excellent communication and decision-making skills, then this opportunity could be for you!


  • Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
  • Screen resumes
  • Perform in-person and phone interviews with candidates
  • Administer appropriate company assessments
  • Perform reference and background checks
  • Making recommendations to hiring managers
  • Coordinate interviews with the hiring managers
  • Follow up on the interview process status
  • Communicate employer information and benefits during screening process


  • 2-4 years recruitment experience
  • CHRP designation is an asset
  • Ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency based, behavioural etc.)
  • Hands on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong decision-making skills
