Our client, a leading Bank of Canada, is looking for a Reconciliations Specialist to join their team for a contract.role! 

Hours: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday – Must be flexible for overtime hours 
Contract: 1 month - 1 year 
Location: GTA 
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 – based on experience  

*Must have good credit history and clear criminal record*

Job Summary:

The main function of the Reconciliations Specialist is to perform the reconciliation of accounts and complete various forms/documents for the back-office processing area. 

Job Description: 
Sound knowledge and understanding on Month End reporting to Finance- Complete monthly quality assurance review and month end certification of all manual and automated account reconciliations for the assigned business unit 
Complete daily, weekly and monthly process/quality assurance review of accounts and prepare entries using computerized spreadsheets. 
Must be able to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines within the SLA

Job Requirements:
Post-secondary degree or diploma
1-2 years of relevant work experience 
Intermediate knowledge of computer systems (Word, Excel) 
Able to analyze data 
Organized with attention to details and accuracy 
Able to work independently and in a team environment 
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate information effectively.
Able to work in a high-volume environment with extremely demanding time frames.
Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills. 
Highly motivated with a desire to succeed and progress.
Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team. 

Business degree or Financial industry experience of 1-2 years
