Our client in public transportation is seeking a Project Administrative Assistant to support the Property Planning & Development Department.  The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with excellent communication skills and strong proficiency within MS Office programs
Contract – 3 months – possibility of extension
Location – North York – Yonge & Sheppard area
Rate of Pay – $16.00 per hour
Hours of Work – Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Start Date – ASAP

  • Provide general administrative assistance to staff
  • Prepare and review various documents including correspondence, reports, presentations
  • Maintain the department’s central database and filing systems
  • Answer, screen and respond to phone calls
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing fax and mail
  • Maintain comprehensive records of correspondences
  • Arrange meetings
  • Additional related administrative duties as assigned 


  • Previous experience in a similar administrative support role
  • Strong knowledge of standard office practices and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written, including proper usage of grammar, punctuation, etc.)
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
