Our client, one of the five leading Canadian banks, is looking for an Insurance Service Assistant (Bilingual/ ENG/FR) to join our Markham team for 6 months contract!

Location:  ON - Markham
Pay Rate: $26.15/hr (Paid Weekly)
Contract Duration: 6 months (with the possibility of extension)
Hours of Work: Set hours in beginning – evening coverage, then rotational shifts of Morning 8 -4, Afternoon 10 – 6, Evening 2:15 – 10:15. Overtime or weekends maybe required (but an employee would get a day off during the week)

Must have good credit history and clear criminal record

Job Summary:

Perform a broad range of customer service transactions, may provide information and/or advice on services, products, and/or solutions to existing or prospective customers. This role contributes to the growth of the business by developing and deepening new / existing relationships.

This role is required to understand customer needs and identify opportunities to promote products, services, and/or refer them to the appropriate team member or internal Bank partner, while ensuring a positive customer experience.

Job responsibilities:

Phone is a queue, take call and go through motion/scripts

Entering notes into system and close file

Checking emails and responding to managers/partners in timely manner

Every call is ganged by customer service evaluation; must be prepared to take feedback

Mandatory courses once a month (will get time off the phone to complete this)

Monthly/quarterly meetings

2 breaks and half hours lunch (7.5 hour shift)

 

Job Requirements:

Life License (LLQP) - Licensed applicant has to be in acceptance of signing their license over to the bank as main and sole sponsor.

Bilingual – French/English

Exceptional communication skills

Previous call centre or a customer resolution department experience is an asset

 

Education/Experience:

2-4 years’ experience;

Post-secondary
