Job Description

Our client company, a large Federal Government organization is seeking a Bilingual Call Centre Representatives for contract opportunities up to 6 months in length.  The ideal candidates will have full bilingual proficiency in both English and French, previous experience in customer service, with flexibility to work rotational shifts, and the ability to obtain Reliability Status Clearance.
Contract – up to 6 months - possibility of extension
Location – North York – Yonge & Sheppard area
Rate of Pay – $22.00-26.00/hr
Hours of Work Varies – 5-day work week, 8 hours per day – rotational shift schedule
MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FULL TIME HOURS- any day of the week and all 3 shifts (days, afternoons and nights)
  • Manage a high volume of electronic and phone transactions from government departments across Canada
  • Provide support services to departments relating to a wide range of building maintenance issues and other specialized services
  • Responsible for handling both inbound and outbound transactions, in English or French as appropriate
  • Work varied shifts on a rotation with colleagues to support the 24 / 7 operation of the Call Centre
  • Full language proficiency (verbal and written) in both English and French
  • Previous experience in a call centre or relevant customer service role
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound judgement
  • Typing skills of 40+ words per minute
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Must be able to obtain Reliability Status Clearance
  • Must be able to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
