Our client, a leading financial institution, is looking for a Bilingual (FR/ENG) Service Officer (Banking) to join their team for a 3 month contract!

Location: 4720 Tahoe Boulevard, Mississauga
Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Contract Duration: 3 months (possibility of extension)
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 6:00pm (7.5hr/day, fixed rotation per week)

Must have good credit history and clear criminal record

Job Description:

  • Accurate data entry into and updating the Book of Records Data Base
  • Make calls to collect more information for demands of payment or answering partner inquiries
  • Processing paper, determine attachability of Demands across Canada while abiding by Provincial Rules and Regulations
  • Respond to specific Court Offices and Revenue Canada
  • Monitor and address exception reporting
  • Perform document retrieval activities across areas of the bank
  • Provide knowledge and guidance to partners on issues that pertain to own area of responsibility
  • Ensure Government Requirement and Service Level Agreements are met in a courteous and efficient manner
  • Achieve Customer Impacting Customer Experience Index (ciCEI) targets by providing exceptional customer service
  • Identify and escalate gaps/potential risks to the bank
  • Actively provide continuous improvement suggestions and communicate with value-added input during huddles and meetings

Job Requirements:

  • Must be fully bilingual in French and English
  • Superior communication skills, written and spoken in both English and French
  • Previous telephone and/or customer service experience
  • Accurate keyboarding skills with the ability to type more than 40wpm
  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Enthusiastic attitude with the ability to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment
  • Team player with the ability to keep parties up to date on useful information in a timely manner
  • Previous banking and/or financial industry experience an asset
