Our client, one of the Big 5 Canadian Banks, is looking for a Bilingual (FR/ENG) Data Entry Officer to join their team for a 6-month contract!

Location: 4880 Tahoe Boulevard, Mississauga 
Hours of work: 
Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm (rotational shifts, 37.5 hrs/week)
Contract duration: 6 months (with the possibility of extension)
Pay rate: $19.55/hr

*Must have Good Credit and Clear Criminal Record*

Job Summary:
The main function of the Data Entry Officer is to operate data entry devices, such as a keyboard or computer, and verify/input data. They are responsible for accurate information documentation and personal project management. The candidate will be working in the Registered Products Compliance reviewing documentation and applications with regards to RESP for new accounts, adding of beneficiaries, completing withdrawals and handling escalations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Read source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter the data into specific fields or disks for subsequent entry, using keyboards or scanners
  • Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered
  • Locate and correct data entry errors or escalate them to supervisors
  • Compare data with source documents or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors
  • Maintain logs of activities and completed work

Job requirements/skills:

  • Must be Bilingual and fully fluent in both French AND English
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Previous data entry experience with strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • 2-4 years of administrative experience reviewing documentation
  • Computer savvy with intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel)
  • Quick learner, analytical and organized
  • Previous experience working with RESPs an asset
  • Previous banking and/or financial institution experience an asset
