Our client, one of the five leading Canadian banks is looking for an Administrative Clerk, Commercial Mortgage & Real Estate to join our Mississauga team for a 4 month contract!

Location: 4720 Tahoe Boulevard, Mississauga, ON
Pay Rate: $17.34/hour (Paid Weekly)
Contract Duration: 4 months with the possibility of extension
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 7 am - 6 pm (37.5 hours (flexibility required)

Must have good credit history and clear criminal record

Job Description:

The main function of a Service Officer is to operate data entry devices, such as a keyboard or computer, to verify and input data. A typical Service Officer is responsible for accurate information documentation and personal project management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Read source documents such as canceled checks, sales reports, or bills, and enter data in specific data fields or onto tapes or disks for subsequent entry, using keyboards or scanners
  • Compile, sort and verify the accuracy of data before it is entered
  • Locate and correct data entry errors, or report them to supervisors
  • Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors
  • Maintain logs of activities and completed work

Job Requirements:

  • Technical skills include documentation skills and time management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage one's time
  • Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information
  • Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Completion of a speed and accuracy data entry test (May be required)
  • Organized and attention to detail
  • Excellent Typing/Data entry (speed and & accuracy)

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2-4 years related experience required
  • 2 years Banking / Financial Industry Experience
  • 2 years banking systems knowledge S3, OPC, Adminapps
  • 2 to 4 years of similar administrative experience
  • 1 year data entry experience
  • 3 years experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint and Internet Explorer)
