Administrative Assistant
Location: Downtown Toronto
Duration: Temporary to Potential Permanent
Compensation: Up to $25 per hour
Our client, a Canadian organization with diversified business interests, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team for a temporary contract with possibility to extend. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, detail oriented, and must have a proven understanding of data protection procedures. If you pride yourself on being a reliable, quick learner with the ability to work well under pressure then this may be the role for you!


  • Oversee calls, answer general queries and redirect where necessary
  • Manage incoming correspondence
  • Manage and maintain files and paperwork
  • Catalogue books and reference materials
  • Coordinate resources including booking boardrooms and meetings
  • Handle invoicing for quarterly travel reports and other daily expenses
  • Manage travel reservations, logistics and documentation (visas, tickets) for client trips
  • Conduct product research and source relevant merchandise
  • Run personal errands including purchasing, appointment scheduling and other tasks, as needed
  • Coordinate event registration as per client calendar
  • Manage outgoing holiday correspondence by updating address books, creating contact lists and logging all relevant communication


  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Driven and self-motivated
  • Proven problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal)
  • Comfortable with technology, with a strong understanding of Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong understanding of data protection procedures
