Our Client, a public service transportation provider, is looking for an Administrative Assistant (IT) position to start immediately.

Hours: 35 hour work week, Monday to Friday
Start: Asap –  6 months 
Department: Information Technology Services  
Location: Toronto 
Pay: $17.00/hour

Responsibilities: 
Performing a variety of administrative functions to support project activities for the section

Assisting with organizing, workload coordinating/planning, change order processing, scheduling, etc.

Maintaining a follow up system of change orders and requests

Scheduling meetings and recording minutes

Providing administrative assistance to staff

Other related administrative duties as assigned  

Requirements: 
Completion of secondary school education combined with related work experience

Familiarity with Microsoft Project is an asset

Proficient in Microsoft programs (PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, etc.)

Good knowledge of standard office practices and procedures

Strong technical and report writing skills

Excellent attention to detail

Excellent organizational skills and communication skills (oral and written)
