Vice President of Business Development and Client Service

Our client, a global leader headquartered in Canada with an outstanding growth track record in their domain seeks a Vice President of Business Development and Client Service to LEAD Business Development efforts and CHAMPION Client Service in Central Ontario. In this role, you will lead Regional Directors to exceed targets and determine opportunities for growth within current the client base and beyond. If you are an individual with experience in business development and client management, with a strong track record of meeting and exceeding targets and team development, then we want hear from you!  The client has a strong entrepreneurial spirit within so if you are a fit to this type of corporate culture, we should talk!


  • Lead Regional Directors to exceed plan and determine opportunities for growth within current client base and beyond
  • Lead the operations and sales teams in the Central Ontario region
  • Interact with potential customers regarding needs and advise clients on types of solutions
  • Oversee labour relations and HR for 5000+ employees
  • Expand development and operations strategies to grow market share
  • Support RFP team (Request for Proposal) on operational content
  • Resolve customer requests regarding service and introduce new services in the marketplace
  • Supervise, coordinate and manage company’s client management processes
  • Establish service delivery processes resulting in customer value creation
  • Develop trust with customers to ensure long-term relationships
  • Act as the central representative on the Canadian executive team
  • Anticipate, identify and present as necessary all opportunities requiring executive attention
  • Monitor all KPI as per customers agreement and coordinate with operations
  • Manage Regional Directors to implement the regional-specific plan and provide development support


  • 8+ years experience in a leadership position leading business development and client management functions
  • Experience in outsourcing, managed services or experiential marketing an asset 
  • Outstanding leadership abilities and the willingness to collaborate and hear opinions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team builder with the understanding of team development for success
  • Willingness to take on new responsibilities and challenges
  • Excellent networking, communication and negotiation skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Office Suite Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • CRM skills with Microsoft Dynamics
  • Strong English skills, both written and verbal
