Job Title: Transactions Processor
Location: Downtown Toronto - Bay Street and Bloor Street
Pay Rate: $17.34/hour
Contract Duration: 3 months, with the possibility of extension
Hours of work: Part-time to full-time hours available (20 to 37.5) depending on volume of work

Job Summary/Responsibilities:

The main function of the Operations Officer is confirming transaction details using various methods of confirmation including phone, fax, swift and email.

  • will be reviewing transfer documents and comparing against bank system for accuracy
  • will be following up with internal/external's via phone or e-mail when rejecting transfer to discuss concerns and correct transfer

Job Requirements: 

  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and handle high volumes of work
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Ability to adapt to changing policies and procedures
  • Attention to detail is crucial
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office, proficiency in Excel is a must, coupled with the ability to learn and apply skills to new software programs
  • Excellent written/verbal communication
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Recent graduates are welcome! 
  • Previous financial/banking experience preferred
  • Bilingual candidates will be given preference


  • 1-2 years experience in a Trade Processing related role, preferably experience with cash products (such as Loans, Deposits, Swaps and Forwards)
