Our client company in public transportation is seeking an Office Clerk to provide administrative support within their Strategy and Service Planning Department.  The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an administrative role, with excellent communication skills and strong MS Office skills. 
Contract – 1 month – possibility of extension
Location – North York – Yonge & Sheppard area
Rate of Pay – $15 per hour
Hours of Work – Monday to Friday – 8am to 4pm
  • Perform a variety of administrative functions in support of the Strategy and Service Planning Department
  • Manage all incoming and outgoing mail, and keep comprehensive records of correspondence
  • Maintain payroll and attendance records
  • Maintain the Department’s central database and document filing systems
  • Assist in the maintenance of stationary supplies and office equipment
  • Provide general administrative assistance to staff 
  • Other related duties as assigned  
  • Previous experience in an administrative support role 
  • Strong knowledge of standard office practices and procedures
  • Proficient in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • High level of attention to detail and organization
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) including grammar, punctuation, and spelling
