Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking Data Entry Specialists to support various divisions within the corporate banking environment on a contract basis. 

Locations: GTA 
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, rotational Saturdays 
Contract Duration: 3 months 
Pay Rate: $16.00/hour 

Must have good credit and clear criminal record 

Work Summary:  Data Entry Specialists work independently within a team environment, planning and prioritizing their daily workloads to meet department objectives. They effectively communicate with staff to obtain information needed for supporting documentation and reports, verify and input data, and are responsible for accurate information documentation and personal project management.
Job Details: 

  • 1-2 years of experience in a Data-Entry-focused role
  • Strong knowledge of and experience using Advanced Excel functions (vlookup, pivot tables, macros)
  • Intermediate proficiency within MS Word and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) are essential
  • Previous clerical/administrative experience in a corporate or office environment
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to stay focused with an eye for compliance
  • Strong documentation skills, organizational skills, and time-management
  • Ability to work in a high-volume environment and take ownership of workload – dedicated to completion of assigned tasks
  • Computer savvy – ability to navigate a multi-window environment with experience using various softwares
  • Works well independently and as part of a team with the ability to adapt to ongoing change
  • Resourceful, with a strong willingness to learn and positive attitude
  • Previous experience performing data entry within a banking/financial environment
  • Familiarity with banking transactions (wires, ATM, foreign, international, debit card, etc.) and/or source documents (cancelled cheques, sales reports, bills, etc.)
  • Experience using FINTRAC system (F2R)
