Our client in public transportation is seeking a Finance Administrative Assistant for an immediate start.  The ideal candidate will have experience working with budget / financial statements and invoices.  
 
Contract – 3 months – possibility of extension
 
Location – Midtown Toronto – Yonge & St. Clair area
 
Rate of Pay – $15.50 per hour
 
Hours of Work – Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
 
 
Responsibilities
  • Review project charges and forecasts
  • Assist in the preparation of various financial reports and documentation
  • Assist in managing and maintaining the project budget and administering financial control processes
  • Process contract and project payments
  • Other related duties as assigned  
 
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of related experience in an administrative capacity
  • Experience with budget / financial statements and invoices
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • High level of attention to detail 
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
