Job Description

Our client, a Big-5 Canadian Banking Institution, is looking to fill multiple  ENTRY LEVEL Back/Middle Office positions at multiple locations (new/recent grads are welcome!).

Pay Rate: $16 to $21/hr (role-dependent)
Locations: Markham, Toronto, Mississauga, Ottawa, Montreal
ALL POSITIONS ARE CONTRACT BASED (2 months to 1 year with the possibility of extension depending on business needs/performance)
Positions: Back Office Support (Includes but not limited to Data Entry Clerks /Operation Officers / Service Officers, etc.), Middle Office support

*Must have good credit history and clear criminal record*

Job Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in related fields (customer service, data entry, administrative support, banking/financial services)
  • Intermediate proficiency including MS Word, Outlook, Excel and Access
  • Fluent verbal and written communication skills
  • 50 WPM Typing Speed
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced or high-volume environment
  • Excellent organization, collaboration, and time management skills
  • Ability to learn new applications and techniques quickly and effectively


  • Completion of CSC, IFIC, CPA or any other relevant designations
  • Previous banking experience is an asset
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
  • VBA, Macro experience is an asset
  • Working knowledge of credit cards, personal banking products, mutual funds, mortgages, FX products, payment processing, etc.


  • High school education or GED required
  • Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or related field preferred
