Our client in banking is seeking a Wealth AML Remediation Agent to join their team on a contract basis.

Contract – to June 2018
Pay – $22.41/hour
Location – Toronto, downtown
Hours of Work – Mon-Fri, 8:30am - 5:00pm

Must haves: 

  • Mortgage and Contact Centre experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • MS Office Suite (Word, Excel)

Job Description:

The Wealth AML Remediation Agent will be responsible for successfully managing client inquiries via phone and/or email with the eventual goal of obtaining all appropriate documentation/responses from the clients with respect to the engagement letters.  This role requires a strong individual who will focus on providing quality service while developing strong relationships with partners and clients. The individual will work within a team to achieve common goals and objectives, contributing to a positive team environment.


  • Provide accurate and timely information. 
  • Proactively identify partner/client needs and communicate recommendations 
  • Contribute positively to the project's overall goals
  • Prioritize and manage own workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity 
  • Multi-task with multiple applications 
  • Adapt to fast paced environment/ under pressure / high volumes 
  • Escalate non-standard or high risk transactions or other activities as appropriate 
  • Ensure documentation prepared/completed is accurate and properly reflects client/business intentions and is consistent with relevant rules/regulations 
  • Complete investigations - report/escalate risk issues identified or process gaps 
  • Know and apply system capabilities to update database tool and track all activities assigned for the remediation task


  • Proven verbal and written communications skills 
  • Working knowledge of Mortgages, RESL, Tax, Accounting an asset 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Advanced Keyboarding 
  • Post-Secondary education required (University degree an asset) 
  • Commitment to client service excellence 
  • Proficiency in ISM, SIT, CIF an asset 
  • Proven ability and willingness to learn and manage complex idea/concepts 
  • Proven attention to detail 
  • Successful completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) an asset
