Our Client, a public service transportation provider, is looking for a Senior Clerk to start immediately.
 
Details:
Hours: 7:30am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday - 35 Hours per week
Contract: 8 month contract 
Location: Downtown
Must have a clear criminal record
Pay: $16.50/hour
 
Job Description:
  • Receives and distributes mail to Senior Manager of Operations and other Managers in Department
  • Completes payroll and verifies vacation records for Safety, Project Management and Department Operations areas
  • Set up meetings through Outlook
  • Attends meetings; prepares and distributes meeting minutes
  • Provides clerical assistance to Senior Manager, Manager of Safety, Project Management, Manager of Track and Structure Maintenance. This includes: photocopying, faxing, typing documents, filing, etc.
  • Provides assistance to the Administrative Assistance when required
  • Other related duties as assigned
 
Job Requirements:
  • Secondary school diploma combined with a few years of related experience working in an administrative capacity/office environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs (Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Word, Power Point, etc.)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Previous payroll experience would be an asset
