Office Assistant (Safety and Environment)

Our Client, a public service transportation provider, is looking for an Office Assistant in the Safety and Environment department to start immediately.

Hours: Monday to Friday - 1 hour unpaid lunch, 35 hour work week
Contract: 4 months 
Pay: $15.00/hour 
Must have a clear criminal record 
Location: Toronto

Job Description:
Maintaining an organized structure/system which entails migration and scanning of confidential documents
Meeting with CSO and Managers to plan and strategize centralized structure
Labelling, shredding and packaging materials
Preparing materials for archiving in accordance with company Retention Code/Law
Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Secondary school diploma combined with a few years of related experience working in an administrative capacity/office environment
Proficient in Microsoft programs (Excel, Microsoft Word, Power Point, etc.)
Familiarity with SharePoint would be an asset
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Able to work independently under minimal supervision
