Manager, Inventory Planning & Procurement

Base Salary Up To $110K + Bonus

Our client, a US based company specializing in Wireless Device Protection Services is looking for a Manager, Inventory Planning & Procurement  to join their growing Supply Chain team!  The Manager, Inventory Planning & Procurement will oversee the planning, forecasting, and replenishment process including; demand planning and creating forecasts by gathering data and analyzing trends.  The Manager, Inventory Planning & Procurement will work closely with client and vendor networks to ensure in-stock levels are being met while managing financial budgets.  I f you are looking for a role that can have a large impact on the company's success and profitability, then we want to hear from you!


  • Forecast demand using various tools/methods and execute purchasing strategies
  • Create and continuously improve reporting for senior management that clearly shows the results of the program against SLAs and budgets
  • Make suggestions and recommendations to enhance the company's systems and tools that will increase profitability and client relationships
  • Gather data from a range of sources, analyze historical trends, and predict future trends
  • Build and maintain relationships with our existing vendors while simultaneously seeking out opportunities with new vendors who can help improve the program
  • Work closely with Client Operations & Customer Care teams to ensure that any product issues are dealt with promptly and expeditiously to ensure customer satisfaction commensurate with lowest cost of products


  • Post secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
  • Five or more years' experience in supply and demand planning
  • Previous working experience in Telecommunications, Insurance, or a similar industry
  • Experience with supply & demand planning tools/systems (Excel, SAP, JDA, Logility, etc.)
  • Experience with ERP systems (preferably JDE, SAP and/or Great Plains)
  • Highly ethical and organized self-starter who can work unattended in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Visio, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
