Director of Marketing, Medical Services – Toronto, ON

Salary: Up to $150,000 Total Earnings (Base Salary, Incentive Plan, Bonus + Benefits)

Our client, a well-established medical diagnostic services provider, is seeking to expand their client base within the Eastern Greater Toronto Area. They are looking for a Director of Marketing to develop and execute marketing initiatives for their clients (consisting of general practitioners and physicians).

This is a senior strategy development role responsible for helping to lead Sales and all other cross functional teams. Additionally, your individual contributions as a Leader will shape the operational practices and planning initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the President, your role will be to work with sales and marketing groups to develop programs and practice management that will result in corporate growth
  • Analyze individual channels and building sales support strategies, incorporating growth and trend development, along with tracking all results
  • Direct all demand generation and marketing program execution by way of data and analytics, assessing specific growth segments to focus or prioritize
  • Guide the company’s competitive positioning related to new clients by maintain relations with them, establishing presence at conventions, annual meetings, and seminars and managing all physician request, concerns and feedback
  • Act as a lead generation influencer for new business acquisition, joining associations as required
  • Lead the development and rollout of annual channel marketing plans; managing budgets while delivering results to profitability and overall sales
  • Develop marketing strategy execution, evaluation and measurement tools and reports
  • Establish sales support structure and framework, along with training, marketing collateral and event management
  • Lead and events, including Lunch & Learns, Conferences, Education Sessions
  • Ensure that the product sales training programs assist in developing skills and capabilities to produce effective sales campaigns, client interactions, product launches and other events
  • Promote a unified and consistent tone and approach to marketing initiatives, while providing fully integrated plans to the communications team

Qualifications:

  • University undergraduate degree, preference for Business or Marketing
  • Minimum of 5 years Marketing experience, with an emphasis on health care, pharmaceutical or medical device sector
  • Flexible, reliable and adaptable leadership capabilities
  • Cross-functional management experience with the ability to build top performing teams
  • Strong people and performance management experience
  • Exceptional communication abilities, with comfort working at the executive level
  • Strong track record of achieving and surpassing goals and other metrics
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; capacity to function with proven analytical and problem solving abilities

 Offer:

  • Base salary range of $90,000 – 100,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Generous incentive plan based on results, adding and additional $40,000 per annum
  • Discretionary bonus
