Customer Service Representative/Logistics Coordinator

Up to $40K + Benefits

Our Client who specializes in logistics, is looking for a dynamic Customer Sales Representative/Logistics Coordinator to join their team! Your goal is to provide excellent customer service that will foster strong relationships with clients. In this role you will be required to answer customer calls and provide assistance when required. If you are an organized, self-starter that thrives in a fast paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the progression of all shipments and effectively communicate with all internal departments
  • Track and trace all shipments and advise the customer of any updates necessary
  • Ensure all shipments are running according to desired delivery schedule
  • Complete bill of lading and customs clearance documentation
  • Coordinate and schedule truck/freight pick up requests from various locations
  • Track, monitor, and cross reference all packing lists
  • Communicate with logistics companies via phone and email and track inventory
  • Pro-forma Commercial Invoices
  • Ad hoc administrative duties as assigned

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of experience as a Customer Service Representative 
  • Working experience in a logistics, transportation, and/or 3PL environment
  • Knowledge of freight shipping and customs clearance in Canada and the US
  • Experience with setting up and scheduling truck freight  
  • Extremely diligent with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
