Corporate (In-house) Training Specialist (Mississauga)

Our global client is currently seeking a Corporate (In-house) Training Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and evaluating learning and performance solutions. The Corporate (In-house) Training Specialist will liaise with key stakeholders to identify learning and performance needs and deliver innovative learning solutions.   • Conduct formal needs analysis, identify learning needs and recommend appropriate learning solutions
  • Design, develop and implement learning and performance solutions across different learning platforms including web-based online learning, workshop and print self-study materials
  • Participate in the development of an eLearning strategy as well as produce and convert learning content into an eLearning platform
  • Contribute directly to the design and Implementation of evaluation strategies that measure transfer of learning
  • Develop and maintain expertise in adult and accelerated learning concepts, practices, techniques and technologies through best practice research to adequately execute business requirements


  • Post-Secondary education in Adult Education, Instructional Design or Education
  • Minimum of three years of experience designing, developing, delivering and implementing learning solutions
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in instructional design program delivery across all platforms (computer based, self-paced, classroom, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Flash, e-learning software, learning management systems (LMS), and audio/ video/image editing
  • Demonstrated ability to align learning needs and training solutions with strategic business goals
  • Demonstrated skills in planning, organizing, negotiating, relationship building and innovative problem solving approaches
  • Superior interpersonal and leadership skills and strong project management skills with the ability to ensure multiple projects are completed under indicated time constraints
