Administrative Assistants- Temporary Assignments

Our contracts vary from a couple of weeks to a year with a possibility of extension

Job Description:

  • Administrative Assistant is responsible for planning & coordinating daily activities and   administrative support
  • Receiving and reviewing incoming correspondence, and initiating action for ensuring timely processing;
  • Coordinate and participate, in meetings updating various databases as requred;
  • Inputting data and maintaining computerized databases, i.e. statistics, calendars, mail, etc.;
  • Setting up and maintaining the department’s central records, files, manuals and reference books;
  • Providing guidance and direction to departmental staff and customers regarding administrative functions, office procedures and corporate policies;
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of business administration concepts and practices;
  • Good personal computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
  • Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to multitask
  • A post-secondary education in office administration, or equivalent;
  • Ability to handle confidential matters in the form of contacts or correspondence;
  • Previous administrative experience - 3 years+
