Account Manager, IT Staffing

The Account Manager drives repeat business by farming accounts for growth, optimize gross margin with each client, achieving and exceeding the company requirements. This person should also maintain current business, while looking for additional opportunities for revenue. In addition, the Account Manager fulfills the orders that the Salesperson stirs up as new opportunities.

This position will be based in the downtown Toronto primarily, with the flexibility to work from home.
 

Hours: will vary depending on event schedules. Peak seasons require evening and weekend work. 
 

Compensation: will vary depending on skills and experience, 3 weeks vacation to start + benefits. 

Time will be split between various tasks as follows:
•    25% reactive customer service calls
•    25% proactive outbound sales calls to current clients and follow-up with potential clients. Sales Team stirs up and/or help close.
•    20% admin/RFP’s, CRM, posting jobs, tracking of placements.
•    20% connecting with team members and sending information to the team as well as clients.
•    10% client site visits.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•    Gather the correct information/needs from the client
•    Work with internal recruiters to fulfill client resource needs
•    Influence process to move candidates forward and educate clients – proficient with negotiating
•    Proactive calls and communication to clients ensuring excellent communication – verbal & written
•    Finding new points of contact within the client’s organization
•    Customer service with clients and help with their needs (including candidates and RFPs)
•    Upload jobs to ensure recruiters have correct information
•    Efficiently manage emails and workload
•    Tracking of placements and personal production
•    Enter all information accurately into the CRM
•    Site visits to prospects and clients while building long lasting relationships

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in the IT staffing industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and knowledge of Bullhorn is an asset
